anyone got speakers in there doors?

im looking for a way to get a set of speakers in my doors and i was just worndering if anyone had pics to post of what thay have done to get speakers in there door panels. i got my door panels apart and would like to do somethig b4 i get to putting them back togetter tomorrow.

Cut a hole the correct size for the speaker to fit, run wires, hook em up and mount em. Measure twice cut once lol. Its a very simple process. Or they sell door panels that are all ready to drop speakers in.

yeah i kno its a simple process iv done it to other cars iv had. i was just worndering what others have done in if anyone had pics just to see if its worth doin to the stock door panels or if it will just look like crap

Oh OK lol, its just the same as any other car. Haven't done this cutty yet...but when I do mine I'm putting in 4x10. Just because I think rounds would look funky considering how the door panels are. But I think the 4x10s would look nicer.

yeah i got some houseing for a set of 6x9s i was thing about trying to get to work but a set of 4x10s would prob work grate ima have to look and see if i got any laying around

I have 4 inch round ones in mine. I found a Regal in my local yard with the concert sound option which included speakers in the doors. i removed the square speaker grille from the lower corner, used the broken door panel as a guide and cut the door panel from my lemans.

The yard has a 2nd regal so equiped in it. If I had to do it again, I would take the whole lower door panel, less trouble than cutting the hole to size. There is also a small speaker support that bolts to the door that goes with it.
