i saw some threads from turbo buick n they said it takes about 6-8 hrs for installation, but im guessin they knew how, if i do it it would be my first time n i would like to get it done right on the first try lol

Why not use the Regal specific one for G-bodies? Regardless, it'll be some work to fit the thing in the cluster, and then run the wires for the sending units. I've got one sitting 5 feet from me for my Malibu.

i was just told 3.5 to 4 hours tops getting 1 installed. i have 1 for my cutlass and at 1st i was planning to install it myself. its a $700 part and i dont want to short it out with a bad wire job or something so i found a pro-touring classic car shop in my area. i was quoted $300 tops for the install and he would show me all of the features to work it for qtr miles times, 0to 60 stopping times, how to reprogram for gear ratios or different tire widths. Dakota digi dashes are the sh*t and they have a lot of other options too.
