I know the CK shift kit is supposed to be the best but with servo is $100 more. I was plan on getting the CK base convertor and bottom feed filter set up. Also getting the Transgo hardened pump rings with stiffer spring and hardened stator. I have to do those seals anyways. Also need to do the selector shaft seal, never done one. Also getting a new TV cable. If the CK kit is much better, I will go that route. I ran the old Transgo kit, didn't shift really firm till I added a billet servo. Are there many changes? Doing my 424 Olds sb stroker, hoping to get at least a year out of this trans. Thanks in advance.

I'm have the new Transgo shift kit installed in my 200-4R but I also have an upgraded servo installed along with a governor upgrade. I purchased a governor that was calibrated for the 442 200-4R and the 1-2 shift is really firm @ 5K rpms. Anywho, I'm happy with it.

Frank, doesn't the new kit come with a billet servo instead of the cheesy washer set up? I believe it also dual feeds the direct clutches? $100 difference between CK and the Summit Transgo price. I am probably leaving the 4000 rpm shift points, will manual shift at the track.
