Are these Oldsmobile heads any good?

I was at the junkyard today and lucked up on a edelbrok performer rpm intake maniforld for a Olds well ive been thinkin about the heads thats were on it and they had the number 5 and ive been reading these heads are good for a street 350 olds build.Are these the right ones and not the 5a heads and are they worth grabbing for the right price.Thanks for any info...

Those are 68-69 #5 350 heads which means they are good. Grab em along with the RPM intake too. Why someone would junk a car and not remove any of the good parts is beyond me, but hey, their stupidity is your gain!
 
Yup you have to grab those. if you can get them for 150 or under your making out like a bandit. They are highly desirable
 
How much did you get the intake for?
 
That alternater and mount looks like the stock Olds stuff to me.
 
I'd grab the whole engine. With those heads and that intake, there might be good stuff inside it :idea:
