Interested in hearing from people who have RUN these or have a picture of a car with these on it.

Im looking at possibly using 235/70/15 on my 84 regal. The tires are free, and the rear will work no problem, but not sure about the fronts.

For now the car will just be parked on them, but If I can drive it with them, even better.

Wheels are stock 15" Grand National Rims (15x7). Tires are 235/70/15s.

Will it work?

I had 235/60/15 on my 87 442 all the way around and they worked pretty good, no rubbing issues, the 70s should be a little taller so I wouldn't think that it would be a problem.

I think you're going to have some rubbing issues up front...unless you raise the car several inches. 235/60's would be a much better choice in my opinion. I once used 225/70's all around. They rubbed on the fenders up front until I used new F41 springs and better shocks.
Good size tires for a pickup truck, but not for a G-body.

If you have a factory ride height GBody, a 235/70R15 will not rub anything

BTW, your 30 year old factory springs do not qualify for "factory ride height" ... they are sagging 8)

Im not sure what the springs are in there. Most likely lowered. They are definitely not original, very firm and new feeling, but i doubt they are replacement.

In any case, I have a 28" ET street tire on the back now, and these are the same on the back. But like I said, not sure about the fronts. I think ill take 2 of them and stick em on the rear, and then go scrounge a tire shop for "throw aways" that are still useable.

Probably a reason why no one seems to have tried them.
