as the title states, the wife isn't all too happy with 2 project cars cluttering up the driveway, and parts in their trunks, shed, and back bedroom, now I drag a 3rd G-body home last weekend! good thing I don't have a dog, or he wouldn't have his house in the yard anymore!
I picked up an '87 GP t-top/console car at an estate auction for a steal, and has none of the normal rust issues that you'd normally find in one parked in a grassy yard for only god knows how long... I found the missing pice of vynil top trim in the trunk along with a new set of t-top seals still in the packages. dual exhaust is fairly new, and looks to be a good quality double hump trans crossmember, and headers. I still need to do a bit of detective work, but suspect that the original 305 was replaced by a crate 350 (important clue being an electric fuel pump running the carb, and the opening for the mechanical pump is cast over... bolt holes are still there, as is the outline, but no opening... also has a provision in the timing cover for a crank trigger...) couple pics for now, haven't cleaned/played with it enough to really get more pics yet.
moving day

amazing what a quick pressure wash can do!

so, it looks as if the cutlass will be finding a new home soon... as much as I like the car and it's 98% rust free state, it's gotta go... it's been a bit of a weight around my neck with title issues... hopefully this round the title will finally come through, and a couple guys at work are showing enough interest to make it worth my while, and help me get the GP and the regal to the status's they need to be.
