Ok, I was unaware of it and the subsequently locked thread but a member on the MonteSS site had referenced pics of the build to his site so after inspecting the pics, I wanted to share what I think the guy did to accomplish it and this should serve as a method to achieve an AWD gbody-I am not refuting who did the work, only trying to figure a way to do it. It appears to me that the builder used a front stubbed frame section from a 1995-02 S-10 Blazer, Olds Bravada, etc., and mated it to an AWD drivetrain from either an AWD Silverado SS pickup or possibly an AWD Trailblazer SS.
Having owned a 99 S-10 Blazer 4 x4, I recognize the shock arrangement and brake hardware-obviously upgraded to coilovers. Anyway, whoever wants to tackle one, that should give you a direction to go.
Should mention an AWD Astro would work too...not sure if they are torsion bar front susp. too or not.
