got a 87 el camino conqista with the rare bucket seats, and center console with center console shifter, original 305 v8 now has 350 but with all other stock parts including alll the cali emissions parts... in a beautiful original maroon and silver color, sitting on period correct real iroc rims, that have been chromed to match the trim and bumpers of the camino, looks almost factory.. also has factory rear air suspension..
my dad bought this car brand new in 87, he had to custom order it to get this spec, it was his baby.. ill never have the heart to sell it...

looks great from the outside, super clean, but mechanically it needs a lot of work, the original 305 had over 200k miles, now its been sitting in storage for about 14years. joined looking for info to help on its journey back to life..

ps. I did get it running already, gotta love these chevy v8s, I just got a new battery, poured some gas in the carb and she started right up!!! after 14 years!!!

Welcome to the GBodyForum!
Now that you know it runs and since it's been sitting for 14 years, you will want to drain all the fluids and replace with new. Flush the radiator and fill with new coolant. Drain the fuel tank and replace the fuel filters. Check the brakes at all four corners and replace anything questionable. Also, the tires will need replaced as they are either cracking and/or well past the manufacture date. After putting a FEW miles on it, you can then make a list of things you've noticed that needs tended too. These are things of safety and to set a good foundation moving forward. Just because it may have ran fine when parked doesn't mean you can gas and go. Time has a way of destroying stuff if left unattended.

And one more very important thing POST PICTURES. We love pictures.
Good Luck
