Great to see other people that like these cars as much as I do.
Got my 1980 Grand Prix in early 90's to use to get me to College, it has been thru some ruff winters (even drove it on slicks in one of the worst snow storms in Minnesota, True story), it was built in GM Canada Plant, got it from a older lady.
It Had a Pontiac 265 V8 originally that she replaced with a 301 V8 , that I replaced with another 301 V8 that I tried to make power from and lost power, I used this engine to learn how to rebuild motors.
Now I have a 72 Pontiac 400 from a Catalina, I got it along with a 375THM for $400 and man what a difference.
The engine has many new parts but the bottom in has not been taken apart.
She is not a show car and the Paint job is a Macco Cheapo but Young Guys always want to buy it and I say Nope! (they will just tear it up).
Hope to learn some more things about G-bodies here.
