So some time ago I decided to part out my cutlass as it had rusted out rocker panels and floor. I'm sure it would've been an easy fix for some but it's out of my skill level and I lack the necessary tools.
I tried the whole import scene and bout a Nissan 240sx but the passion for that car just didn't grow on me. I also did not like the community/forums, so much negativity and egos.
Every day I walked outside i would see my cutlass in the driveway just rotting away. It was my first car at 17 that I bought for 400$. Spent a lot of time and money getting her up and running.
Long story short, I sold the Nissan about 2 weeks ago and started to look for a rust free cutlass shell as I already have a reliable motor, trans and suspension. Came across a cutlass for 1k on CL no interior pics just outside which wasn't to appealing but I went to look at it anyways.
Turns out, it was everything I've been looking for and more. Brought her home for 600$. Interior is in great shape. Bucket seats, floor shift, and an aluminum number support.
Can't wait to start swapping over my suspension and drivetrain. Then a paintjob. The rag top is not even torn. I'm so excited. Just thought I'd share my experience. I couldn't leave my cutlass.
I will upload better pics later today.
Thanks for reading.

Will do. Since this cutlass is a better candidate as far as being rust free, i have more motivation to work on it. First thing on my list is to transfer over my suspension. Then i need to go out and buy an engine hoist to pull the motor.
