CUTLASS be careful what you probe

i was checking the wires on my 80 cutlass calais and i touched the white wire going to the headlight switch.damn i let out all the preinstalled smoke and man did it stink it must be added by the government to tell if the smoke leaked now i have to replace the wire and reinstall the smoke into the fuse box.

Just be sure to slowly install the smoke back in there, 😉!

I find it is best to buy big containers.

The white should be ground to the door switch. No smoke should have escaped.

I have had good results reinstalling smoke with these.
FYI, the smoke is actually odorless and it is up to each car manufacturer to add their own distinct scent.

i had one side hooked to ground the pointy end of the probe touched the white wire terminal and all the smoke escaped boy did it stink

Yep, worst case scenario: the dome light would come on. You got bigger problems, hoss.
