billet grill

I saw what i believe was a custom grill. This person had the billet grill over the entire front end including over the headlights too. How is this done? I looks sweet and wondered how much fab was needed.
 
That's a mini-truck thing. I wouldnt think it would be that much work, if you used a rolled alum piece, but if you were to cut it from a flo-jet or whatever, then it would get expensive.

i saw a website called mrgrille .com and they have grills you can buy and customise yerself. i think i might try them for the hidden headlight look. good luck! oh and what minitruckin website did you find the other grills on? thanx!
 
oh okay that's cool. i think i'm gonna go a different direction though. maybe a whole new fiberglass on to cut the wieght.
 
i have seen these before. they do make a kit for the el camino. its called a phantom grille, if i can find a website for this i will let you know.
