Blue smoke??

what would be the possible reason I’m getting blue smoke out of the exhaust of a newly rebuilt engine?

Yeah. The rings need to seat, and there could be residual oils/lubes from assembly. Run straight dino oil for break in.
Were new valve guide seals installed?
Also could be a leaky intake gasket sucking oil in the valley......
