Just installed this baby in the Malibu, i also purchased a larger amp as i was going to run this amp into a larger one with more power but for sh*ts and giggles i tried it by itself and Wow does it ever work well!

I am not running a deck at all so all i have to do is connect by bluetooth and all is set, unit itself is no larger than a Kleenex box and puts out lots of power when bridged, something to keep in mind if you dont want a deck in the dash at all.

That's a great idea. Mind if I ask how much that unit set you back? How large is that controller shown in the pic?

I love this idea, although I've found some phones are stupid when connecting to bluetooth. Never had an issue with my Samsung A50, always connected and quickly. Smashed it the other day, now using my old S7, and I NEED those buttons on the deck, I'm constantly having to reset the connection.

That’s the same amp I have on my list. I still have not decided on speakers and placement. I also do not want to have a head unit. “Weight savings” and just a cleaner look. Glad to see it works well. What does the rear of your system consist of?

No issues so far with connection

Just a decent set of 6x9’s and that is it, I ran the two power wires to the back and voila done. I may install a small enclosed sub yet but bass is very good for amp size.
