Is there a specific measurment on the body gaps for an 87 Monte Carlo ls or r they all different. If not does anybody have gap measurment on the gap between the rear quater panel and the door and also the door and front fender. Thanks any info would be helpfull.

Usually, people try to align the door to the front of the rocker, to get an even fender gap, but on these sloppy 'ol cars, that can sometimes make for BIG door gap at the rear.

My old '80 Malibu coupe had door gaps between 8 and 10mm at the rear, and the doors had never been off the car. The '80 shop manual calls for 5 to 8mm on the front to the fender on the MC. I would imagine the rear should be the same, but I do not have the Fisher body manual (contains everything from the cowl back).
