Yes it's possible. Just do one side at a time so that you keep your body straight on the frame.

What kind of car do you have?

Yes, do one side at a time, and use a long 2x4 under the rocker pinch weld to lift the body up with a floor jack or two. Depending on what model you own, your bumper fillers could be at risk, since the raising of the body off the frame may cause them to get caught on the bumper on the way up. A day or two before you are going to do it, start hosing down all the bolts with your favorite brand of penetrating spray to help loosen them up. Most importantly, take your time. Nothing sucks more than having to cut a hole in the floor so you can torch a stuck or broken bolt out...

Good luck!

i pulled the frame off one of the parts cars we had, we hooked up a cherry picker to the trunk latch and lifted it from there, didnt cause any damage, as for the front.....well we KILLED the body getting the front off

but a cherry picker on the rear trunk latch worked best...latch attached to the bodu, not trunk lid..lol
