this is the epoxy primer box I have and im almost ready to paint, I have 2 options, used the jaded green paint im doing the exterior with or line x bed liner, which would look better, the line x is going to be glossy black.. im leaning towards the line x but im worried it will look stupid with the green exterior

did anyone leave the spot welds alone before painting or should I get them worked on?

Are you gonna be using the truck bed a lot? paint will get scratched up pretty easily. I would go with a flat/satin black liner, think it would look better than a glossy black on green.

I wont be using the bed much but when I do I don't want to scratch it up, maybe flat or satin will hide the spot welds..

Yea it will hide imperfections and wear better than a gloss. Builds up pretty good too, will probably fill the dips from the spot welds.

box liner on the bottom of the box and paint on the sides IMO. Or paint it all and put down a heavy rubber mat when you want to use the box. I personally don't like the contrast between the bedliner and paint. Or just put a soft tonneau cover over the box and paint it whatever colour you like 🙂

Originally, was the bed body colored or black? That would give you a better idea of which route to take. Personally I like the black bed liner look. It's more durable.

I'm going with eastwood jaded green paint metallic, its pretty dark so Im thinking the black would look pretty good

I used the Dupilcolor with Kevlar in my Dakota box. It is very tough, spilled gas in the back, didn't do a thing . It has chunks in it for grip, needs dabbed on to look even.
