I've got an 88 Monte LS and I'm on the market for new braided stainless steel brake hoses because it sat under a tree for 12 years before I bought it. They're not exactly looking safe anymore.
I'm the kinda person that wants to make his own stuff before he just buys something so I'm looking for ways to make my own hoses before I buy the hundred and something dollar kit from Gbody Parts.

So sourcing my parts on https://www.anplumbing.com/ the only thing I can come up with in the way of banjo fittings are 3/8 / 10mm. I just want to know if those will fit, and also what fittings I need to find/buy to plumb the hoses on to the factory steel brake lines on the chassis.

Go hunting on summit's site. They have the russell kit which is top quality and fits like factory.

I have goodridge brand on my cutlass. I think i paid around $90 for the front 2 lines, and rear flex line that goes to the dist block on the rearend. The quality is great, as well as the looks, and they should never rust or fail.

I'm also a proponent, and user of Russell hoses. They seem to be quality made, and like you said, you can't have a set made for that.

I've been researching this as well. I am considering the UMI hoses. I think they are about $80 for the fronts. I think they only sell what they use on their race cars.

The Russell hoses are DOT approved, race hoses may not be.
