I just got a harbor freight wire welder, regular 159 for 89 sidewalk sale price, plus 20% off coupon from any car magazine.
Now its 110 volt, and only 2 wattage settings, like 60 and 80watt, infinite wire speed control. fluxcore only.and when I got mine home this morning,I put the supplied wire in and it actually welded pretty well. I am certain it will be better with Lincoln wire. I bought an extra 24 month warranty for 19 bucks which will replace the machine in store with new, seemed like a good bet for a machine I'm likely to overwork. Its available at harbor freight website, but you cant use the coupon there!
