steubenville, oh
first, will the drop springs from the newer xtreme s10 work on a g body?

also, is it a bad idea to get drop spindles and lowering springs?

doing brakes today and found my driver's front spring is broekn. i was going to lower the car anyways, just wasn't planning on doing it so soon.

thanks in advance for any help

They should work the same. I'm not sure how much it will lower the car though, if at all.

Springs in conjunction with spindles typically lower the car more than just one or the other, it doesn't hurt anything, but you need to get an alignment after putting everything back together or you'll get uneven tire wear.

I have Hotchkis 1902 springs on mine with Belltech 2100 spindles.

well, the xtremem springs are supposed to be a 1.5 inch drop from stock ride height.

i can get them cheaper than aftermarket springs. however, then i still have to buy rear springs.

i figure it's going to be cheaper to get a set of front and rear.

anyone used the springtech springs?
