Looks like a Grand National, was it? If so what happened to the Buick v6? It looks and runs good just seems like a shame that it couldnt be kept if it was an original GN. Not to chastise as I put a Cadillac motor in an original 442 and maybe that one like mine can be put back if someone later wants to restore it. Has he taken it to the track yet? I want to put some viynal (sp?) lettering on my glass thats says; yea its a hybrid burns both gas & rubber. Seems like it would also be appropriate on that car.

Good one,Vern!!!

Ya, i dont see why anybody would switch the engine in a GN, if they wanted a 454, thats when you just get a regular regal

how much $$ does hee have in the motor, I may be considering putting a 454 in mine...lol, if your a good shopper ive seen em for 800$. ...damn i love the sound of that car. but how do you keep from speeding ...damn!

I think he's spent in all includin new and used parts and the purchase of the almost complete 454 about 2 grand to get it where you see it in the vid. I've been following his build on maliburacing its a low budget engine street trim meaning lotsa torque less hp.stock build just a upgrade on cam and intake and carb.
not a real GN but it did have a turbo v6 before.still has the brf transmission and 8.5in. rear with 3.42 posi.
2 grand wasn't enough to send out and rebuild the lc2 so it was sold for like about 1500 with wiring harness and that funded the bbc project
lookem up as 454regal. cool guy to chat with he has feedback on what he's experienced with his project if you want to ask ?s .
