So I was starting to tie the rear frame rails together when of course all the bolts started to break. So I figured since I have the bumper off might as well take a look inside. Well there was lots of rust. A lot of it I could scrape off. None of it so far is all the way through. The crome bumper has a nice dent on one of the edges. Im sure I could hammer it out. But I figured it would look a lot nicer if I could just buy a new one. But guess what all of those old bumper shops and body web sites dont have those any more. I was just wonder before I go hammering out sanding down and painting this sucker. If any body else has had any luck locating a new one.

Might help if we knew what car you're working on . . .

I saw several bumpers for Regals on Ebay last night, some nice used ones and even some rechromed ones. They ain't cheap though.

Then to the best of my knowledge, the Regal ones may fit . . . At least the ones for the '78-'80 Coupes and/or '78-'85(?) four-door models, which is what I was looking at.

. . . and I gotta stop posting at 4 in the morning. Somehow I read your post and still missed out on what I was looking for. Your car, being an '82 Cutlass two-door, will pretty much need bumpers off another '81-'88 Cutlass two-door.

I apologize for the gross misunderstanding.
