Bumper Interchangeability

I have a 78 Grand Prix SJ and the bumpers are pretty badly dented. I never see any GPs like mine at the local pick n pull, but I do see a lot of other G-bodies around the same year as mine. Does anyone know if a bumper from like a Malibu or something would bolt on? Now I understand purists don't like this sort of thing but the car is already far from original the way it is, and I just wanna get the body work all done and looking nice for summer, plus I think it would look pretty unique...

As far as i know no other g body bumpers fit the GP... It's the ways they stick out a in the middle versus the flat ones most g bodies have. Now i was thinking of pulling the Aluminum bumper core out of a 78-80 Monte to replace the steel one in my 85 GP but didn't pull it cuz i didn't want to chance it not fitting.. Look on ebay or get yours fixed or is too damaged beyond repair?

They're pushed pretty far in on the sides... I don't know how to fix that... A frame puller maybe?

i would try that but the rear bumper has some rust as well... Maybe some body has some better ones from a car they are parting out..
