I wanted to figure out how many types of front and rear bumper reinforcements are available for g bodies. I know there are steel and some aluminum, but I wanted to see how many designs there are and what interchanges.
Monte Carlos have fronts with light cutouts and a rubber cover and is taller. Is this reinforcement common on all trim levels?
Cuttys have fronts where a chrome piece mounts to the bottom and a rubber piece mounts to the top.
Regals have a one piece chrome bumper face.
Do all Montes use the same reinforcement for all models?
Do any interchange between models?
Any input would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has any pictures you could share? A complete breakdown might help someone in the future.
