Sending them out to get powdercoated satin black. Also sending out the bumperettes along with them. Shouldnt take long as my buddy's wife's father owns the powdercoating business here locally. Will let you know how it comes out and of course I will have pictures uploaded to my gallery. This also gives me a great oportunity to install those fiberglass bumper fillers and get them prepped and ready for paint.

sweet, how much is it running you? the the whole car gunna be satin?

Bout 100 dollars all together for the two bumpers and everything. All the chrome trim is going to be satin black along with the GNX fender flares and GNX louvers. The only thing that currently isnt satin black is the trim around all the windows, the door handles and locks, but they will get replaced with new black gm handles and locks. The body of the car will be anthracite gray pearl.

hmm... i like the color choice... any clue how your going to black out the chrome trim? because back when i wanted to do the whole black out thing i wasnt really sure how to do all the chrome trim in black.

Rattle can of McGuard(iirc have to look) its an almost exact match to the Grand National trim paint that GM used. Ive already done the grille and headlight and taillight bezels. They look wonderful. If it doesnt hold up to daily driving to well, then they will all get powdercoated as well.

I dont think you can powder coat those lol, arent they plastic?
