Yea he put the smack down on that mustang! His name is Don. He has run a couple of the pinks events. I like the Caddys in Gs cause they are dirt cheap and crazy fun. I mean cheap to pick up a motor and cheap to make your G go relatively quick. The stock motor and gear blue Cutlass that ran a 13.4 at 100 is typical no converter not crap. Definitely not cheap if you want to build it to run a 9.

On the other hand that Mustang was a cheap 9 second car as he picked up a several motors for dirt and played with em grenading a few spraying the bejesus out of them figuring out what they liked. Ran a 9 on a stock bottom end with home ported heads and like a 250 shot. He didn't care that it wouldn't live he just wanted to do it. I think he lived in FL where they were plentiful in yards back before the crazy rise of steel prices had our salvage yards scraping steel like mad. My understanding was that he builds race cars for a living but this was a personal low buck side project experiment that he had fun with for a while. I liked the sound of that motor which was part of why I picked Magaflows when I did mine as I read that was what he used under it. Mine sounded similar but had less cam and I think turned like 5 to 8 hundred rpms less.
