If you’ve gone with the newer Milwaukee 18 volt ion tools, beware of batteries on Ebay. The ones I bought showed a Milwaukee 5ah for a damn good price. The first thing I noticed when unpacking them was the bottom lable said Vanon, not Milwaukee. Then all 3 batteries would not fit either of my Milwaukee chargers. The rapid charge or the regular. They said their sending me a return shipping label.

That was my thought, but figured I’d be the the test mule ( *ss ) and find out for sure. IF they were genuine Milwaukee, the price of $31.00 for a 5ah was irresistible. Live and learn
Sounds like you didnt ask the seller if they were genuine Milwaukee or not, if it didnt say in the listing. Too many people go by just the listing title and not read the details or even look at the pictures.
I looked at the friggin pics and read the friggin add 5 times over !!!!
As a seller on ebay I would say ask questions before buying, I would rather answer some questions rather than deal with annoying returns.
Also put the sellers name before on Ebay, it lumps any bad sellers in with the ones that are trying to make an honest buck. Im not even sure why Ebay has a feedback system still nobody looks at the feedback ratings too.

The seller in this case has a 100 rating. Probably because he’s not arguing about a return

I used to buy quite a bit on eBay. Now when I look for something, I check the feedback and location. But that doesn’t mean much anymore. I bought something last week and checked seller and location. Everything seemed great. Good ratings and location was kentucky. showed up in an Amazon Package and payment went to Hong Kong. This has happened to me more than once.
