Recently was pointed towards this brake upgrade over others due to me wanting the larger diameter rotor

So this is what I have so far

C5 calipers 200
Front mounts. 89
Front hub machining. Tbd
Front rotors. 50
Rear rotors. 50
Rear caliper brackets. 200
Banjo fittings. 4
Banjo fitting copper gskt. 1
Brake hoses (4). 100

I believe this should be all of it. I have a set of stock front rotors. I'm going to machine them to a 5.85-5.90 total diameter so the corvette rotor fits. I'll need to determine if I will need long 12mmx1.5 studs too

Does anyone know if I will?? If so give me a part number. I'm sure I'll only need 5/16 to 11/32 longer

So my total at this point invested into a big brake kit stands at 694 bucks for both the front and rear. I already have new inner and outer bearings and new hub seals. So I'm not including that cost. But if you want timkins cost me 50 bucks shipped

I have decided to purchase a brake hose from/for a 98 or so s10 truck
I'm hearing chatter that these will work

There 10-12 bucks each it seems

The rears I'm not sure about yet. I'm hoping the stock c5 hoses will work. If those parts work I'll have 70-75 bucks less than the 694 invested into a 12.8 inch diameter system

I've heard your style setup works. I didn't go that route because the Blazer upgrade offers other benefits. I could upgrade to the Blazer brakes for $300 with all new parts, then as budget allowed upgrade with no modifications, simply unbolt and bolt new parts on. All the way up to 15" diameter rotors and 6 piston calipers.
