I got a free early 90's Camaro shifter and want to swap it for the column shift I have now. Any ideas how to hook up the ignition lockout, reverse lights and just a good place to start working on it?
My car had a factory floor shift and there was a linkage that ran up from the trans/shifter cable and moved the column. Im sure you could probably make one or snag one from a car that had it. Mine got in the way of the headers when I did the v8 swap so I had to pull it out so If you already have a v8 you might be better off making your own or maybe they are v6/v8 specific.
