Hey hows it going EveryGBody im planning to add some exhuast on my 81 CutlaSS 350 stock engine with 1406 Edelbrock Carb i want a set of double pipes whats a good brand like Flowmaster? or whats another Brand i want a Strong good Sound What could i go with?

ThankSS

I'm looking at one of the pypes header back kits. Summit has a bunch with regular, glasspack or no mufflers. I've been satisfied with flowmaster on previous cars but I'll give pypes a shot for a couple hundred bucks less.

i went with the pypes 2.5" exhaust with the xpipe... had to chop n weld my transmission crossmember for dual exhaust...

Sorry but I got to ask but what's up with the capitalization of random words but no capitalization on the word 'I'? C'mon man! Periods are cool too!

To answer your question ( after painfully reading through your post.... ) the Pypes system is pretty good. Many people use it. Unfortunately Pypes is not a great company to deal with though as their sales people are ( or at least were ) incompetent and just plain rude. Flowmasters are not a very good flowing muffler and are too loud IMO. Only you can decide for yourself what sounds good.

Hows the sound is pretty load or all depends on the tip?

my buddy has the same set up with the napa quietflow ss mufflers and it sounds damn good, not too loud, i think it sounds better than the flow masters... the flowmasters are a little too loud... check out youtube, search-"sound testing flowmasters 8 hottest mufflers" they toss 8 different flowmasters on a 500hp dodge and have a decibel meter both inside the car and out...

O yea i ask about Exhaust not other opinions!!!!!!

And you got it with some additional info. This is an internet forum. These aren't text messages. If you make your posts hard to read and/or your posts come across as being 'stupid' for lack of a better word, you will get less people willing to help you. If you post in a more serious manner you will get more help. It's just that simple.
