Canada Visit

It seems as tho there are alot of people on here from Canada. So I figured I would ask you guys. My wife and I are going to a concert in Montreal called Heavy MTL. Its August 11th and 12th. Any of you guys know of good places to stay in or around Montreal. Areas to stay away from and we plan on doing some stuff around the area or in montreal and what is there to do.

Yea SOAD is back! Im not sure of the route we are taking yet but we plan on going up there a day before and staying almost a week. It falls on my summer vacation so it works perfect. There will be lots of stops on the way home though

SOAD is one of the reasons I'm going. I never seen them. Me I'm more into the bands that aren't lining but the headliners are band I used to listen to alot and some never seen. Slipknot does put on a good show. I hope Randy gets out by then I would like to see Lamb of God again. Should be a sick show.

Deanlemans81. I'll be driving up. We spending friday-tuesday there. Typically out budget for hotel will be $150/night. Seems like some hotels there have shared bathroom, on street parking. Thats not our thing. The wife likes museums and stuff like that. Typically anything touristy were cool with, sightseeing.

Slipknot and Lamb of god are pretty good live. Pretty much all the opening acts are the ones I really want to see. SOAD just for the fact its SOAD. Where you guys getting a hotel. Were thinking the Howard Johnson. Its a known name.
