The sad thing is that it's almost time for us to stow away our cars for the winter...Well in the Northeast anyways. That being said, what are you guys/gals using for a car cover???

For indoor use I had one I bought 20+ years ago for the GN and one where I sewed two king size bed sheets together. The bought cover worked a little better but the cheapo route also worked just fine.

I've been using a 4 layer Covercraft cover for close to 10 years and its still in good shape.I dont have a garage,so it gets used almost daily, although the Monte is stored inside over the winter.

i actually have a car cover but i dont use it and it has never been used. if anyone wants to buy it....shoot me a PM with an offer.

I need one so bad. The tropical storm we just had tore my tarp to pieces and now it's been raining almost every day. I have T-tops and shaved door handles so the windows stay down cuz It doesn't have a battery in it. The custom door panels and trunk panels are getting ruined. I'm scared to look at it tomorrow.

Here in Az ,We get alot of nasty dust storms.
My El Camino is in the garage but the heavy wind in the summer "monsoon", storms.
Drive the grit right around the small gaps in the best garage door's.
My car and the garage look like they are covered with ,chocolate milk powder.
Except its very abrasive, like Comet or AJax.
I have been thinking about some kind of cover, that is soft on the inside, but wont let the dust through.
( Washable would be cool). I really don't want to mess up this paint job,it took alot to get it this far. :|

I've been thinking the same thing, my SS is also always garaged, but the winds seem to whip dust in through my garage doors too. I have seen Summit has Covercraft car covers for around $190-$205, but also has Summit brand covers from $40-$70 I think. I wander how good these are and what would be the best and for what conditions.

I have been using one of these for about 10 years now, mostly outside. Now my car is inside and I still use of to keep the dust off of it.
