But lol, I still have my ever evident miss. I dont know if its something internal or what not. MAP sensor, O2 sensor, timing is good, distributor cap, plugs, plug wires, all been replaced. One thing I was thinking of. I get 750 left over my college loan. What kind of horsepower can I get out of the 4.3 engine. I mean its only got 81K miles on it. I only want a max of 350 horsepower out of the engine too. Thats why I dont know if id even want to go the route of putting a 350 in it. Why not improve gas mileage and keep the stock engine in there?? ANy ideas people. Can I stick with stock throttle body too. That would be cool to keep it original. If I had too though. I could go with carb. This is really interesting to me. Let me know guys.

Well, getting 350hp out of a 4.3 is not gonna be cheap. It would take thousands of dollars and not be very fuel efficient when done.

for 750$ you might as well just get a stock 350. throw a cam/lifters/valve springs combo in it with an intake and carb, headers and call it a day.
