I just had my edelbrock performer 600 cfm carb rebuilt and adjusted it has worked fine until the other night i raced a friend (mercedes s500 lol) we were on the freeway and we got to around 110mph i looked under my hood later and noticed my dipstick had came out some and shot out oil where the stick goes into the block (going to fix sunday) anyways my car seemed to slowly pick up speed and when i punched it it still was slow to pick up this was my first time on the highway since the carb was done thought it would pick up speed faster can anyone help me with this I kep an eye on my tac and the rpms did not shot up like they were suppose to when i steped on the gas my trans is a t350 with a b&m shift kit and i have not done anything to my rear end since my v6 swap any help welcomed thanks in advance also now when i drive my car bogs a little when i lightly press the gas when i give it a little more its ok

That has to be the longest run-on sentence I've ever attempted to read...
Punctuation helps make your posts easier to read.

I'm just playing, I couldn't resist...

You mentioned a motor swap, what motor is in your car now?

i'm not sure about the acceleration problem, but it sounds like something with the carb or fuel delivery.
the dipstick popping out is excessive crank case gasses. either the rings haven't seated, the PCV valve isn't working, the vac tube to the PCV isn't pulling/connected, or the breather is not flowing enough air.

thanks for the help i feel its a problem with the fuel to i have stock fuel pump from napa (not sure what brand) i was thinking of up grading to and edelbrock to match carb and intake???? i have a old holly too i also was thinking of getting rebuilt and see if i get a difference

The problem started after the work on the carb, so, that is the problem. I would guess the secondaries are not opening. If it was the power valve it wouldn't run at idle.

sounds like the secondaries didnt open or your transmission didnt kickdown since u stated you were already on the freeway, so ill assume you were already into 3rd probly doing 55+
