car stalls when a/c is on

Hello all today as I was coming back from the parts store my 2003 pontiac sunfire stalled when I turn the a/c on. Any idea of what can cause it my guess is the idle control the thing that keeps the engine idling under load of the belt system went out. Any idea what else it could be? Thanks a ton

Either your idle air control valve is sticking or you have an intake manifold leak. The Idle air control valve can be removed and make sure the orivius is not plugged with carbon restricking higher idle air flow. Then check intake leaks with carb cleaner.
