I need the help of you gurus as I'm still learning. My wagon has a chevy 350 with performer intake I believe a performer cam full dual exhaust 3.73's out back. The carb is a performer 1405 600cfm that I feel is already undersized and I bought a rpm air gap this weekend and really don't think the carb is going to cut it. This is where I need the help what do you all think is it too small of a carb? I was thinking a 750 cfm with mechanical secondaries what are your thoughts.

Eddy stopped making new Qjets years ago.

The 1405 carb you have is right for the motor you have specked. Bigger only helps if you have the other parts to go with it.

Ok thanks I didn't know if adding the air gap intake would cause enough oh a change to warrant a bigger carb.

600 is perfect believe me.

I have a holley 650dp and i have a airgap intake head work and cam and my car runs like a beast but the shop that tunes my car tune the carb and re-jetted it but i read somewhere that a 750cfm is the best to have on a stock/worked 350 but no more then a 750 and no less then a 650cfm.But my 650 does the job.
