Guys I am really interested in these 2 cars, the bottom one especialy, I am not really sure what to offer for the bottom one either. I only have 340 dollars right now which really sucks too. I emailed both to ask for better pics, I have to admit my monte ls is rougher then the bottom one and they say they want 2500 just to paint it to get it back to good conidtion at the body shop. When I see deals like this It makes me sorta sick. I found a 72 online 10 minutes ago for 2200 which was in mint shape. Anyhow my real question is this, was the 85 CL carb or throttle, this would make a decent difference cuase I wouldnt have to mess with the throttle body or check engine correct?


EDIT, the lady of car #2 sent me a pic, its not too rough of shape, problem is the engine is almost blown and would not be able to go 150 miles, it would most likely have to be trailered home which sucks. I told her not to bother taking pics of the bottom of the car but I thanked her for her time in taking the picture of it. I dont know what the other guy has said yet.

I assume you are in MI? I am near Kalamazoo and may be able to check out a car near here if you find one you think you'd like. My last car, an 81 Cutlass, I paid 1200 dollars for and it only had 50K ( this car came from Grand Rapids) and was rust-free. either of the cars you've listed will be tough to keep up with, possibly, with rust and other maintenance issues.

my advice: If you can save a little more money and wait for the right car it will pay off for you.

the 2nd guy got back with me, the car definitely doenst have any brakes, I dont know how bad the oil leak is. Id just have the car dollied back to my house anyways, the problem is I only have 200 bucks on me as i stated before. Im going to check out the car on friday. He sent me pics, everything on the car is absolutely immaculate from what i can see. Im hopin he would take my 200 dollar down payment, sh*t id have new doors, fenders, etc you name it. he told me its the 305 I guess. Funny my brother shows interest in the car too yet he has no liscence at the moment, he wants to drive down to flint to look at it. I told him yeah right so you can buy it, **** off lol.
