I've heard that quadrajets are superior for gas milage compared to the Holley 600 that I have. While doing my research, I've seen that there are Carter Quadrajets and Rochester Quadrajets. With a correct rebuild of the same type of carburetor, shouldn't the performance be the same If not, what is the difference besides the name?

They are the same. Demand was so great, Rochester contracted out to Carter to supply carbs.

265k tight tolerance.
