Im in the process of mocking up my center console in the monte. Im going from the stock column shift to a center console from a Monte and B&M shifter. Im not worried about the shifter but can anyone tell me or show me the correct locations for the center console brackets? I tried using the search but couldnt find anything relevant to my question. I found this pic on OldsPower.com but im not sure which car it is and obviously the cutlass consoles are different. Also if anyone has brackets for sale that would help me too

Those brackets in the photo are correct for all the G body consoles.

I located mine by test-fitting the console and shifter in place, then marking the floor pan for the correct positions.
I did about 3 test fits to make sure I welded the brackets in the right place.

This is my floor pan with the brackets in position:

Thanks for the input! Im gonna fab up my own but they will be the same style as the stock ones. BTW that GP console came out great 😀

Thanks!
Hope yours turns out great, too!
