i have a 1984 buick regal with the 3.8, the alternator wont charge battery at idle rpm, but once i hit around half throttle it charges just fine, both the alternator and the battery are brand new.
so what i'm saying is whats the issue? it must be something in the wiring or a connection, i checked all the grounds and the power cables and all that was fine. so what else could it be?
