in need of help. check engine light is on and shop said after hooking up the diagnostic reader to read the code it yielded negative results. i am in a fog because im suppose to buy this car which is a 83 hurst olds with 3,900 miles on it for a good penny. this was performed at a restoration company. owner did not fix due to age and milage but i feel in limbo on the purchase. i feel for the price there shouldnt be a sigle thing wrong. am i making a fuss on a non major issue or can there be a costly issue on top of this purchase. keep in mind company and owner says car checks out and performed great but could have a electrical issue. can some one here help? and text me solution on what to do, keep in mind he wants 26,500 for the car. i also dont want to pay too much which i feel bottom line price is high. this car is well documented with ttops and sand stone interior and is in impeccable shape as it should so again in need of advice , please text me at 914-906-2225 thank you so much p.s. going tomorrow to talk
