I have a 1982 Buick Regal Limited V6 4.1L. The check engine light would come on and off from time to time. It would come on and once it was turned off and turned back on it would go away. Now the light remains on, i tried to do the paper clip method and even have used an obd1 scanner that worked before to retrieve codes. But now i am not having any luck trying to get the codes read as to why the light is on. Tried disconnecting the battery to reset the light but still remains on. Thinking it has to do with the actual connecter ground being bad. but not sure. thanks for the time!
