I have a 83 calasis with a 307y. The choke on the passenger side of the carb that has the tube going into the manifold is broken. What is the best way to fix this? This is a heat activated choke correct and with the tube broken it is not working correctly. Thanks Shanezoid.

You are correct, the tubes are heated in the crossover in the intake and allow hot air to heat the choke coil. These tubes rust and break, this is not uncommon. The plate that the tubes go into unbolts from the intake and can be replaced.
