The rear bumper on my Cutlass had a Sticker on it and was recently removed. The chrome exposed is really shiny and stands out a lot. I was curious if that spot is so shiny because it was protected or if there is another reason behind it.

And, how would I go by blending in that really shiny spot?

That's what I was going to use, I just wasn't sure if the sticker didn't anything to the chrome to make it appear so much brighter.

Thanks man.

Nah, the sticker just protected it from oxidation and dirt.

Got some Polishing Compound. I was gonna do it tonight, but it's cold out and the car was really cold. It's in the Garage now, but I'll just wait until the car warms up to try fixing this.
