Voted, Chrome

Chrome. BTW, don't shave the door handles. It looks cool, but it WILL be a PITA once the novelty wears off.

X2

When I bought my Delta 88 it had shaved handles, done by the PO. The silinoids wore out and once you locked the car you couldnt get it unlocked with the key, you had to be inside the car to get it unlocked. None the less it had plenty of scratches from close hangers inside and I had to jimmy the door open SOO many times it got stupid.

Maybe on a show car but for me I'll never attempt shaved handles myself after dealing with the nighmare that was my Delta88.

Kinda tough decision. :?
The pic with painted bumpers looks good, but the pic with the gal, I mean the one with chrome bumpers looks good too.
Either way looks good but my vote goes for the gal, I mean the chrome bumpers. 8)

I think it depends on if there is going to be any chrome on the rest of the car. The pic with the painted bumpers, there is not a single piece of chrome on the car, and it would look out of place with chrome bumpers. Likewise, the pic with the chrome bumpers, the car also has the chrome windshield trim, driprails, wheels, etc, so it all works together. I am having the same debate with myself about my GP (whenever the hell I paint it.) Going to be going with a dark blue and I want to black out all the trim, and color-match the bumpers, but am not completely sure, since they are perfect, no rust or dents or anything. I have a while before I get to that point though, so I'm sure I'll make up my mind.

I just voted for the chrome myself, too. My 84 Cutlass ended up all blacked out very much like the top pic. Looked good no doubt.

Now that I'm putting all my good parts onto my 86, I'll probably leave all the chrome in place, it will be painted black as was my 84. More of a stock look.

Either no chrome at all, or all the stock chrome.
