Chrome SSII's

I have a chance at a set of 4 chrome SSII rims that appear to be in nice shape with tires but no center caps for $300. Wondering if that's a good deal or not. Thoughts?

14x6 or 15x7? For 15x7's that would be a decent deal. Not a terrible price for 14x6, but I'd try to see if he'd come down a bit. Plenty of members on here probably have some center caps.

Update: So, I passed on the 1 set but, found a set of 6 - 14x6 and 7 center caps for $150. They were pretty dirty. Just had the old tires removed and going to wash them tomorrow. Thinking I got screwed. But, we'll see. I then stumbled across a buddy that has a set of 4- 15x7's sans center caps. They are clean. Two chips total out of the chrome on the whole set. The lug holes have rust on them that will need to be removed and repainted black. I know these are hard to find. We didn't talk price and I don't know what they are worth. Can anyone come up with a fair price for the 4 - 15x7's?
Also, anyone tried that "metal rescue" on these? Says it won't harm the chrome but, I'd like to know if anyone has tried it.

I've seen them go as high as $300 each. Him being your friend, I would try to get them as reasonable as possible. Also, the 15x7's never had a black painted center, they were gray for hursts & gold for 442's. I'd offer $200 for the set.

Obviously I'm still alittle green. I just went outside and found the stamps on the rims. They are stamped 14x6 JJ. and the date is 07/84. So, these are the less desireable ones which is ok because I can use my tires which are still good. Would $150 for 4 rims minus center caps be out of line? oh and yes, I now know they are ssIII's not ssII's.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Why u need ten 14x6's though?

Dually cutlass with a dual axle cutlass trailer? Long story short found the original six with 7 centers and bought them. Peeled off the old tires and found that they are in pretty rough shape. Found out about the 4 AFTER buying the six which are in MUCH better shape. Hoping to be able to salvage at least one out of the original 6 for a spare. Haven't decided what I will do with the other 5. Don't even know if they are worth selling.
