I HATE looking for wheels on kijiji, craigslist, etc. Does nobody understand that BOLT PATTERN is important if someone wants to buy your wheels?! Or at the very least what kind of car they came off of?! These people are retarded.

Yes I totally agree, back spacing and lug pattern are important.

I totally agree, for a classified add there is no such thing as too much imformation.
I always put as much imformation as possible and do research to get additional info if I feel it is needed but if it saves me time answering questions that should be answered by reading the add then it is worth it.

I saw a set of wheels for sale at a flea market a few weeks ago and asked the seller about the bolt pattern. He replied: "five lug". Duh, I can see that... I had to rephrase the question, he replied: "It's the American pattern, there's the American pattern and the European pattern". And he went on to mention that the wheels would be going on Craigslist if not sold that day. I told him that the questions will only get harder, prospective buyers will want to know about the width, offset and backspacing. Not a clue ...

Offset? Backspace? Watchootalkinbout Willis? I consider it a good day if the rubberhead knows if it came off a Ford, GM, or Mopar!
