hey guys to me the front coil springs in my car make the ride height look to high, i have small block 350 springs in it, would it be ok if i used springs for a 307 or 305 to make the ride hight a little lower in the front??

Check out http://jeffd.50megs.com/Moog_Spring_Page.htm you also might want to do a search, there are quite a few posts on how to accomplish this. From that link, you can figure out exactly which springs you'd need to get to the ride height you'd like.

A chevy 350 and 305 both weigh about the same so using coils intended for a 305 wont change much with a 350. And you dont buy springs based on cubic inches. Its either v6 or v8, small block or big block.

i didnt know that, thanks for the info! so if i change to v6 springs it will lower my ride height? i dont want the front slammed to the ground, right now it just sits a little higher then stock height, and i dont know why

Are the front springs brand new? If so they may still need to settle down to their final ride height over a couple of days.

I have a set of v6 springs if ya want em...pm me if you do.

Yes, careful here because you don't want it bottoming out or swaying side to side on corners. Are you running bigger tires like 15"? Moog 5660 or 5658 will work to give you a slightly lower ride height while also limiting corner roll some for better handling.
