Column shift on 83 elco.

Hi guys. I'm new to the site and have a couple questions I hope somebody can answer. I am building a 83 el Camino with my son. I bought the car with no motor or trans so I don't know what it had. It now has a350/350. Will the stock shift linkage work with my turbo 350?

Most likely you had a metric 200. The stock column shifter will work.

Does the car have a dash indicator for a 3 speed automatic or an overdrive automatic ?

Mine was a 305 /2004R combo and went to a 350/350 combo with the stock column shift.
under the dash mounted 4 speed indicator is the 3 speed one. at least on 87 it was like that.
Transmission cross member must be changed though if going TH 350
