Does anyone have any pics and info on removing the column shift linkage to use a b&m floor shifter. i have already purchased a B&m trans shift lever. I have the pro stick shifter, trans bracket that goes to the pan and shifter cable. When I bolt the pro stick to the floor, does it have to be in a certain spot?

I dont have any pics but it isnt hard to do. IIRC the linkage is attached by a clip to the column. Probably a clip on bottom side, a mounting pc bolted to the frame. The shift lever on the column has a pin that can be knocked out to get to the arm off. Put the shifter in the most comfortable location for you, drill some holes and mount it. You'll need to drill a hole for the cable also.

the b&m shifter isnt hard to do at all. just place it somewhere comfy for you drill you a hole for your shift cable and keep the cable FAR AWAY from all exhaust pipes because if it melts your cable your boned. instructions are on bmracing.com. and the column lever is held in with some sort of pin you bang out with a hammer and your done. o and you'll have to figure out how to rig up your reverse lights because i was too lazy to do mine. what kinda race car needs em huh?
